Summary

Dan’s practice encompasses all general business matters including mergers, sales and acquisitions, venture capital transactions and corporate and other limited liability formations. Dan also regularly advises clients (including lenders) in all forms of real estate transactions, including leases, construction contracts, purchase and sale agreements, professional sports stadium agreements, real estate based loan transactions, and title matters.

Dan received his B.A. from Northwestern University in 1983, his master’s degree from Vanderbilt University in 1985, and his J.D. degree from New York University in 1989, graduating summa cum laude and Order of the Coif. Dan is admitted to practice in New York, Kentucky, and Ohio. Before joining Taft in 1993, he was an associate at Rogers & Wells real estate department in New York City.
