NICHOLAS J. PIECZONKA is an associate in Taft's Cincinnati office and is a member of the Litigation, Real Estate, and Product Liability and Personal Injury Practice Groups.
Nick has experience in state and federal courts throughout Ohio and Kentucky. He has been involved in all aspects of the litigation process, including trials, arbitrations and mediations.
A good deal of Nick's litigation practice is focused on personal injury, product liability and wrongful death actions. Representative examples of personal injury and product liability cases include:
- Representation of medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers.
- Representation of individuals and business entities in automobile, trucking and pedestrian accidents, many of which included death and permanent and catastrophic injuries.
As a member of the Real Estate group, Nick has a significant amount of experience in real property litigation, including commercial and residential foreclosures, disputes relating to commercial and residential leases, and with receiverships.
In addition, he has experience in other areas of the law, including first amendment disputes.
Nick received his bachelor's degree in history from Thomas More College, graduating magna cum laude. He earned his law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law, where he was the associate editor of the Law Review and served as Chief Justice of Moot Court.
