Nidhi Srivastava

NIDHI SRIVASTAVA is an associate in Taft’s Chicago office concentrating on a wide range of corporate and transactional matters including entity formation, corporate governance and corporate restructuring.

Nidhi focuses her practice on certifications of minority, woman and disadvantaged business enterprises (M/W/DBEs) with states and municipalities nationwide. In addition to assessing certification eligibility, she advises clients on certification appeals, joint venture agreements, and airport concessionaire operations.

Nidhi also works with government entities and companies on matters related to public finance, including economic development incentives, private-public partnerships (P3s) and project financing. She was previously a member of the firm’s litigation group where she gained experience with a variety of commercial litigation and administrative law matters.

Nidhi received her B.A., cum laude, from George Washington University, where she was also a recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Award. She earned her J.D. from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. During law school, Nidhi was a judicial extern for the Honorable Justice Anne Burke of the Illinois Supreme Court and the Honorable Judge Thomas M. Durkin in the Northern District of Illinois.  

She was also a member of the National Moot Court Team and Wagner National Labor and Employment Law Team. She was the recipient of the Wagner Moot Court Best Advocate Award and Richards Labor and Employment Law Scholarship.
