Kristine M. Kolky
KRISTINE M. KOLKY is a partner in the firm's Litigation group. She focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation, including commercial foreclosure and creditor’s rights litigation. Kris regularly represents financial institutions and other lenders in litigation arising from commercial transactions, contract disputes and real estate matters. She also represents court-appointed receivers in various litigation, including commercial foreclosure, eviction and building/zoning litigation. Kris also has experience handling employment disputes and mechanics lien litigation.
Kris works with the National Immigrant Justice Center and represents asylum seekers pro bono in both the application process and litigation arising out of removal proceedings.
- Represented lender in appellate court litigation involving foreclosure of a privately held museum.
- Represented primary secured lender in commercial foreclosure and mechanics lien litigation involving a large townhome development.
- Represented primary secured lender in multi-million dollar receivership and foreclosure actions involving numerous gasoline service stations.
