Summary

Brianna practices complex commercial litigation. She focuses her practice in the medical, construction, banking, real estate, and insurance industries throughout the country. She has extensive experience representing businesses, shareholders, creditors, and individuals in litigation arising from contracts, commercial leases, insurance claims, mechanic’s liens, wage and employment matters, trade secrets, and warranties. She also represents doctors and closely-held companies in matters involving shareholder agreements, stock purchase agreements, stock appraisals, private equity acquisitions, business valuations, non-competition agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and restrictive covenants.

Brianna specializes in advising clients of their rights and remedies under various laws and ordinances nationwide, including the Uniform Commercial Code, Title VII, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Business Corporation Act, the Mechanics Lien Act, the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act, mortgage foreclosure laws, landlord-tenant codes and ordinances, and various wage and hour laws. Brianna has extensive experience representing middle market regional banks in class action defense, commercial foreclosures, collections, bankruptcy, and workout-related litigation. Early in her career, Brianna represented businesses and individuals in immigration and visa matters.

Since 2012, Brianna has been included on the Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Stars list. From 2015 through 2021, the Leading Lawyers network recognized Brianna as an Emerging Lawyer because she was among the top 2% of lawyers in Illinois under the age of 40, as ranked by her peers. In 2022, the Leading Lawyers network named Brianna to the Leading Lawyer list, a distinction earned by less than 5% of attorneys in Illinois.

Brianna received her Bachelor of Arts from Loyola University of Chicago, where she majored in Anthropology. Throughout college and law school, Brianna studied abroad extensively, first in Rome where she studied history, archeology, and Italian as an undergraduate. In law school, she participated in international human rights conferences in Peru and Israel.
