Summary

Jim advises business leaders who invest in growth and build businesses in a variety of transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings and commercial financings. With over 25 years of experience, Jim has advised business leaders in a number of industries, including manufacturing, real estate, information technology, financial services and health care.

Jim is the author of the article “Selling or Buying a Business,” which was published in Indiana Business Magazine, and he speaks on topics such as National Business Institute’s “Counseling the Small Business Client in Indiana” and “Analysis of General Provisions in Acquisitions Agreements.” He recently authored a chapter titled “We Disclosed What? Seller Strategies to Mitigate Risks Associated with Evolving Information Evaluation Techniques,” which appeared in the book “Inside the Minds: Business Due Diligence Strategies,” 2014 edition.

Jim earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University, where he majored in accounting at Kelley School of Business, and received his Juris Doctor degree from Case Western Reserve School of Law, where he served as a staff member of the Journal of International Law.
