Summary

Steve focuses his legal practice on the construction and real estate, computer/technology, and health care industries. He provides financial and business operations counsel to private and public enterprises, both large and small. In addition to his legal practice, Steve counsels the firm on administrative and financial matters.

Steve joined Taft in 1977 after graduating cum laude from Harvard Law School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry, graduating summa cum laude from Washburn University. Prior to attending law school, Steve developed computer models and worked on chemical analyses of water quality problems for the Kansas Department of Health and Environment and the National Sanitation Foundation.

Steve’s accomplishments are recognized by his peers and through his inclusion in distinguished biographical directories. Steve has been listed in Best Lawyers in America since 1995. Marquis, the gold standard for biographical information of renowned individuals as publisher of Who’s Who in American Law, Who’s Who in America, and Who’s Who in the World, has listed Steve in its directories for more than 15 years. He is also designated as a Leading Lawyer by Cincy magazine. In addition, Steve has been awarded an AV Peer Review Rating (Preeminent) by LexisNexis/Martindale-Hubbell for approximately 20 years. For 17 years, Steve served as precinct executive for the Hamilton County Republican Party.
