Taft partner Chase Dressman has been named a Forty Under 40 honoree by the Cincinnati Business Courier. The program recognizes young leaders and professionals from across Greater Cincinnati with an emphasis on leadership and community involvement.

Dressman is the Chair of Taft’s Cincinnati Environmental Practice Group and advises clients across a multitude of industries in identifying and managing complex environmental liability considerations. He counsels clients on a daily basis with federal, state and local regulatory compliance issues, and has drafted and negotiated hundreds of contracts involving significant environmental liability considerations in the manufacturing, chemical, distribution, real estate, waste transport/disposal, and remediation industries. He maintains an active environmental litigation practice in state and federal courts, and he has served as lead environmental counsel on corporate transactions valued in the hundreds of millions of dollars. He frequently helps companies with environmental audits of facilities and operations, including the defense of civil and criminal claims by EPA and state agencies related to alleged violations of environmental laws.

Dressman is a former three-time Chair of the Cincinnati Bar Association’s Environmental Law Committee, the former Chair and Vice-Chair of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce’s Regional Youth Leadership Program, and an alumnus of Leadership Northern Kentucky and the Cincinnati Academy of Leadership for Lawyers (Class 21).
