Eaton Article Published in CBA Record

Taft partner J. Timothy Eaton wrote the article “Interlocutory Appeals in the Illinois Reviewing Courts” for the November 2015 issue of the Chicago Bar Association (CBA) Record. The article explains Illinois Supreme Court Rules 304, 306, 307, 308, 381 and 383, which permit appeals of non-final judgments and discuss the procedures required when seeking appellate review.

Eaton is a senior litigation partner in Taft’s Chicago office, concentrating on appeals, commercial litigation and arbitration. He is a former law clerk for the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and is active in local and national bar associations. He is a past president of the Chicago Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association and the Appellate Lawyers Association of Illinois.
