Johnson Joins Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis Board of Directors

Taft attorney Ronan Johnson has joined the Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis Board of Directors. Johnson is a member of Taft's Business & Finance group and represents private equity funds, large multi-national corporations and closely-held and family-owned businesses in complex transactions involving mergers, acquisitions and recapitalizations. He also advises growth stage and mature companies in connection with securing debt and equity financing and counsels business clients on general corporate matters.

Johnson is also a board member for Meals on Wheels and serves on committees for United Way of Central Indiana, Leadership Indianapolis, the Penrod Society and Charles A. Tindley Accelerated Schools. He is a graduate of the IndyBar Bar Leader Series (Class XII) and a member of the 2014 Class of IU Health Methodist Hospital’s Inspiring Leaders. He was named to the Indianapolis Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 list in 2016 and was a finalist for Indy’s Best & Brightest in 2015.

Johnson graduated from the University of California at San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics in 2002. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the Washington University School of Law in St. Louis in 2009, where he served as an associate editor of the Journal of Law & Policy.
