McDonald to Participate in Panel for Detroit Startup Week
Taft partner Robert W. McDonald will participate in a venture capital panel on May 26 at Detroit's Inaugural Startup Week, lead by entrepreneurs and hosted in entrepreneurial spaces all over Detroit. During this one hour panel discussion, some of the country's most successful early-stage investors discuss must-hear tips and insights for startups looking to raise seed funding for their company.
McDonald is a co-founder of The Brandery, routinely a top 10 business accelerator located in Cincinnati, Ohio. The Brandery has graduated six cohorts of companies, and they have received over $120 million in venture capital financing. In addition to his work with The Brandery, McDonald is the co-founder of and co-manages Vine Street Ventures Fund, a venture capital fund dedicated to investing in web and mobile technology companies. At Taft, McDonald focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, financing and general corporate work.
