Taft attorney Ann O’Connor McCready graduated from the Indiana State Bar Association’s 2016 Leadership Development Academy on May 20. The academy is a statewide leadership program established to empower and develop lawyers to be informed, committed and involved so they are qualified to fill significant leadership roles in the local and state bar associations, local communities and organizations and to serve as role models in matters of ethics and professionalism. The group of 24 lawyers participated in five sessions featuring speakers on various topics to inform participants about leadership roles and techniques, effective leadership skills and the challenges and rewards that come with leadership positions.

McCready is an associate in Taft’s Indianapolis office and a member of the firm’s Environmental and Litigation groups. She focuses her practice on insurance coverage litigation, including disputes stemming from environmental claims.
