Vaselaney to Present at AICPA Annual Advanced Estate Planning Conference

Taft partner Missia H. Vaselaney will present at the 2016 American Institute of CPAs (“AICPA”) Advanced Estate Planning Conference, which will be held July 17-20 at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C. Vaselaney has been a member of the Steering Committee for the AICPA’s National Advanced Estate Planning Conference since 2001.

Vaselaney will present on five topics at the conference:
•    July 17: "Introduction to Wills, Trusts, Property and Estate Tax Concepts"
•    July 17: "Estate Planning Townhall"
•    July 18: "Second Marriages – Protecting Yourself and Your client"
•    July 19: "Estate Planning for the 'Modern Family'"
•    July 19: "What Every Accountant Needs to Know About Probate Litigation"

Vaselaney focuses her practice on estate planning for business owners and individuals. She collaborates with clients to both plan and administer estates that have ranged from the very modest to the large and sophisticated. In addition to her planning role with the AICPA, she is also a member of the Ohio Society of CPAs. Since 2002, Vaselaney has been recognized as an OSBA Board Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law.
