Taft partner Julie Tarvin was a panelist at the Cincinnati Business Courier’s Business & Succession Planning discussion on Oct. 12 in the Taft Center. Tarvin and other industry experts examined ways to plan for the proper organizational structure for the transfer of a business to the next generation and how to implement such strategies while reducing risks and much more.

Tarvin is a partner in Taft’s Private Client group. She focuses her practice on estate planning and probate and trust administration, and she advises clients on lifetime gifts and transfers at death and consequential tax issues. She also handles court filings, tax analysis and tax return preparation, creditor issues, retirement plans and IRAs, life insurance and the many other aspects of planning to make sure the intentions of her clients are carried out to their specifications. Tarvin also provides guidance to clients on a wide range of issues, including special needs planning and charitable giving.
