Thompson Mentoring Article Published by Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Journal

Taft partner/Chief Diversity Officer Adrian D. Thompson authored the article “Lighting the Career Path Through Mentoring and Championing,” which was published in the March issue of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Journal.

The article discusses the duties of the mentor and mentee as they forge a collaborative mentoring relationship, and highlights the championship process that navigates the team through unconscious bias and stereotyping they may encounter as they strive to meet the goals of the organization as well as those set by the mentor/mentee team.

Thompson provides counsel for private sector clients on issues including equal employment opportunity litigation, wage-hour problems, employment of the disabled, federal housing, and other labor matters. In his role as the firm’s Chief Diversity Officer, Thompson helps to drive the firm’s commitment and strategy regarding diversity and inclusion across our offices and in the communities that we serve.
