Cleves to Participate in Panel Discussion at 19th LCI Congress

Taft attorney Joseph A. Cleves, Jr. will be a panelist at the 19th Annual Lean Construction Institute Congress "Capture and Leverage the Lean Advantage," to be held Oct. 16-20 in Anaheim, Calif. The panel discussion will focus on the business case for using Lean Design and Construction, techniques for implementing Lean on a project-wide basis short of full Integrated Project Delivery and contractual considerations in doing so.

Cleves, a partner in Taft’s Construction and Real Estate groups, has extensive experience in lean construction, a practice designed to maximize value and minimize waste throughout the construction process, and with integrated project delivery (“IPD”), a process uniquely suited to put lean construction principals into practice. Cleves has consulted on multi-million dollar developments across the nation, incorporating IPD as a means to delivering value to all phases of design, fabrication and construction.
