Taft Partner Julia Meister Elected President of the Cincinnati Area Senior Services (CASS) Board

CINCINNATI, OHIO – Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP is pleased to announce that Julia B. Meister, a partner in the firm’s Cincinnati office, was recently elected president of the Cincinnati Area Senior Services (CASS) Board of Directors for a two-year term. Meister has been active on the CASS board since 2004 and began her association with CASS as a volunteer guardian and attorney several years prior.

Meister heads Taft’s Cincinnati Estates Trust and Fiduciary Litigation practice and is a partner in the firm’s Litigation, Health and Life Sciences, and Private Client practice groups. She counsels clients and represents them in commercial and estate, guardianship, trust and fiduciary matters and professional ethics and discipline matters before courts, administrative tribunals, and arbitrators. Meister is an appointed member of the Ohio State Bar Association’s Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Law Section Council, and she recently served on the Ohio Supreme Court’s Summit on Aging Planning Committee.

Meister was named one of the Cincinnati Business Courier’s Forty Under Forty emerging leaders and has been recognized for multiple years in Cincinnati Magazine as a Super Lawyers Rising Star and by the YWCA Academy of Career Women of Achievement as a Rising Star. She is active in several legal and community organizations and currently serves as a vice president and trustee for the Cincinnati Opera Association in addition to her role on the CASS board.
