Taft Partner John Papageorge Appointed to Zoobilation Committee for Indianapolis Zoo

Taft partner John D. Papageorge has been appointed to the Zoobilation Committee for the Indianapolis Zoo.

Papageorge is a partner in Taft’s Indianapolis office and a member of the firm’s Litigation, Environmental and Product Liability and Personal Injury Practice Groups. He received his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University and his Juris Doctor from Valparaiso University School of Law. He is a member of the Indianapolis and Indiana State Bar Associations and is a Barrister of the Indianapolis American Inn of Court. He also serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors for both the Central Indiana Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the Indiana University College of Arts and Sciences Alumni Board. He recently completed his participation in Class XXXV of the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series.

Zoobilation is the Indianapolis Zoo’s premier fundraising event held each June on the grounds of this downtown institution.  Recent Zoobilation events have included more than 4,000 guests for the one-night spectacular and brought in a million dollars+ each to fund the conservation mission of the Indianapolis Zoo.  Such a large endeavor requires the outstanding assistance of an extensive volunteer committee of community leaders such as John Papageorge who lend their time and talents to making Zoobilation a success.
