Taft Welcomes Two Litigation Partners to the Cincinnati Office

Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP is pleased to announce that Mark T. Hayden and James M. Dickerson have joined the firm’s Cincinnati office as partners in the Litigation practice group.

Mark T. Hayden is an distinguished trial attorney who focuses his practice on business disputes, with a particular expertise in the areas of products liability and competitive practices/unfair competition. He has been lead trial counsel in more than 25 jury trials for both plaintiffs and defendants and has one of the largest jury verdicts in a commercial dispute in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Hayden is recognized in Ohio Super Lawyers, in Best Lawyers in America (commercial litigation and corporate law) and as one of Cincy magazine’s Leading Lawyers. Prior to joining Taft, Hayden was the managing partner of another Cincinnati firm, as well as a member of that firm’s management’s committee.

Hayden plays an active role in the greater Cincinnati community. A former Campbell County Commissioner, he is on the board of several organizations, including The Faith Community Pharmacy and The Life Learning Center. Among other honors, Hayden has been named to the Tri-State Power 100 list multiple times (published by Cincy magazine) and has been selected to participate in Leadership Cincinnati Class 33 and the Cincinnati Business Courier “Forty Under 40” program. He received his law degree, cum laude, and did his undergraduate work at Indiana University at Bloomington.

James M. Dickerson is an accomplished first chair trial attorney who focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution, constitutional law, election and campaign finance law, class action defense, electronic discovery and information management.

Dickerson was selected to participate in Leadership Kentucky Class of 2003 and has been recognized in Ohio Super Lawyers – Rising Stars in the field of business litigation. He is involved with the St. Elizabeth Medical Center Hospice committee and is a board member and legal counsel to The Rich Brooks Foundation. A cum laude graduate of Harvard College, Dickerson received his law degree from Northwestern University School of Law.
