Summary

Erik is an associate in Taft’s Minneapolis office in the commercial litigation practice group.

As a former military officer and litigation attorney, Erik brings with him years of experience with solving complex problems in high-stress environments, a proven track record of unyielding work ethic, a dedication to his clients, and a passion for service. Prior to joining the firm, Erik clerked for the Hon. Eric C. Tostrud, U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.

Erik earned his J.D., magna cum laude and Order of the Coif, from the University of Minnesota School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in political science and Russian area studies from St. Olaf College. While in law school, Erik served as the Managing Research Editor for the Minnesota Journal of International Law and was a summer associate at Taft. Before law school, Erik served for four years as a U.S. Army Engineer Officer in a combat engineer unit.
