Summary

Jim is an attorney in our Private Client practice group. He is known throughout the region as an accomplished trust and estate planning attorney. He is a model professional with a strong record of experience and public service, all of which enhances his service to clients. Jim has “the touch” to get to the heart of the legal issues to find fair solutions, and does so with kindness, diplomacy and skill.

Jim has practiced trust and estate law in two major Twin Cities law firms.  A Fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, Jim has taught as an adjunct professor at William Mitchell College of Law and the University of St. Thomas School of Law.  Jim previously served on the boards of multiple organizations, including Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis, the Minneapolis Foundation and Children’s Cancer Research Fund (CCRF).  Most recently, Jim was a senior relationship manager in the Lowry Hill and Abbot Downing divisions of Wells Fargo serving private clients and family and charitable trusts.
