Kenny I. Nelson

Kenny is an associate in Taft’s Detroit office where he focuses his practice on commercial litigation. He gained extensive legal experience as a summer associate with the firm for two consecutive summers.

Kenny earned his J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and his bachelor’s degree in behavioral science and Spanish from Western Michigan University. Prior to starting his law career, Kenny was a behavior technician for four years and provided Applied Behavior Analysis therapy to children diagnosed with Autism. Kenny also worked for Spain’s Ministry of Education as a language and cultural assistant and English teacher.
