Paralegal - Trademark (Minneapolis)

Taft is seeking an experienced Trademark Paralegal to join our dynamic team of legal professionals in our Minneapolis office.
We are seeking a paralegal with 7+ years of experience to support the Trademark practice group in our Minneapolis office. All Taft employees operate under a “Client First” philosophy — in all things, we seek to provide exceptional services to our clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of foreign and domestic trademark portfolio management
- U.S. trademark prosecution, including conducting CorSearch preliminary trademark searches, preparing and filing trademark applications, and monitoring application status
- WIPO filings
- Communicate regularly with clients and foreign associates regarding trademark prosecution and maintenance matters
- Assist with trademark enforcement efforts, including monitoring trademark infringement activities
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of comprehensive US and foreign trademark paralegal experience strongly preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong initiative and problem-solving ability
- Commitment to facilitating efficient processes and procedures
- Paralegal certificate/degree preferred
