10 Things Every Lawyer Should Know About: The Key Aspects to Prosecuting or Defending Your Case

Taft attorney J. Timothy Eaton will speak at the Illinois State Bar Association seminar “10 Things Every Lawyer Should Know About: The Key Aspects to Prosecuting or Defending Your Case,” which will take place on May 21 in Chicago. The program will address key points that can make or break your case in a negligence lawsuit. Eaton's presentation is titled “Appealing the Verdict.”

Eaton is a senior litigation partner at Taft, concentrating on appeals, commercial litigation and arbitration. He is a former law clerk for the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and is active in local and national bar associations. A prolific writer, Eaton frequently drafts articles on trial and appellate practice and ADR in addition to co-authoring a comprehensive textbook on appellate practice, now in its fifth edition.
