Beyond the Fundamentals: Introduction to Trust Modification and Common Estate Tax Planning Techniques

Taft Private Client attorney Julie Pleshivoy will be one of the featured speakers at the Chicago Estate Planning Council’s workshop “Beyond the Fundamentals: Introduction to Trust Modification and Common Estate Tax Planning Techniques,” on May 23 in Chicago.

The speakers will discuss GRATs, Sales to IDITs, and other strategic wealth transfer topics related to planning for large estates. They will also provide a thorough overview of trust modification strategies, such as decanting, non-judicial settlement agreements, and judicial reformation of trusts. Approval is pending for continuing education credit for CFP, CLE, CPA, CPWA and CTFA.
