Johnson and Shiotani Present at "Bankruptcy for the Non-Specialist"

Karl Johnson and Yuka Shiotani will be presenting at the 2021 “Bankruptcy for the Non-specialist” seminar on Tuesday, Dec. 7. Their 45-minute presentation titled, “Does Unsecured Mean Out of Luck? What Creditors Need to Know”, will provide an overview of how a claim is asserted in bankruptcy and more. 

This all-day online event is tailored to attorneys across practice areas that want to learn more about bankruptcy law and will give an overview of the various Chapters and types of bankruptcies available to individuals and businesses. Additionally, attorneys will learn about the role of a Chapter 7 trustee and hear from Chief Judge Ridgway, Judge Fisher, and Clerk of Court Tricia Pepin on how the Bankruptcy Court works and operates.
