Medical Device Tax: Comprehension & Compliance

Taft tax attorney Padric Kelly O’Brien will be a panelist in an upcoming webinar sponsored by BioOhio. Padric and the other panelists, including professionals from Skoda Minotti, JLP CPAs and Grant Thornton, will address the IRS regulations concerning the new 2.3% medical device excise tax that manufacturers and importers will pay on certain sales of medical devices. The ruling became effective January 1, 2013. The panel will review the implementation of the new tax, offer guidance on calculation and compliance, and answer questions from the webinar audience.
