Pierce Tucker To Speak on Racial Justice and Racial Equality
Taft Columbus partner-in-charge Janica Pierce Tucker will serve as a panelist during the 2021 Virtual Moritz Business Law Series on Feb. 25. Developed for lawyers and law students, this series will provide insight and guidance for any legal professional or aspiring law student.
The second session of the series, titled “Law Firm Practice, Racial Justice, and Racial Equality,” will include four speakers, including Janica. This program will shine a light on steps taken by law firms before and since the summer of 2020, and explore and critique ideas for law firms to put into motion. Active in the community, Janica has been recognized by her peers on numerous occasions. She is a 2018 Fellow for the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity and is listed in Ohio Super Lawyers for employment and labor law. Janica is a member of Taft’s Executive Committee and serves as co-chair of Taft’s firm wide Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
