Rainhart, Capeder and Lalos to Present at Minnesota CLE 2018 Business Law Institute
Minnesota CLE’s May 7 Business Law Institute will include presentations from three Briggs and Morgan professionals.
Ann Rainhart will present “Women in Leadership – Charting Your Own Path to Success in a Changing Legal Landscape.” She will share insights and ideas from her personal journey from law student to legal-profession change agent.
Lyndsay Capeder will present, “Security Interests: Agreements and Filings,” alongside Jennifer D. Miernicki of Faegre Baker Daniels, and Mary B. Rosen of Wells Fargo. The presentation will review common principles and pitfalls related to security interests, including drafting considerations related to security agreements, common UCC filing mistakes and tips for properly perfecting a security interest.
Attorney Dimi Lalos will discuss the impact of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act on strategic investments around M&A and real estate in a session titled, “Tax Reform: Key Considerations for M&A and Real Estate Transactions.” The presentation will outline key changes and highlight anticipated questions that are likely to arise as deals move forward in this new landscape.
