SBA Part Twenty-One: PPP Application Deadline Extended
Under the CARES Act, the Paycheck Protection Program’s (PPP) period to request a PPP loan terminated on June 30, 2020. However, last week Congress passed a bill extending the deadline until Aug. 8, 2020, and President Trump signed the bill into law on July 4, 2020. This law reauthorizes lending under the PPP, which currently has approximately $120 billion in federal aid left unspent.
