Super Lawyers magazine has recognized 33 attorneys as Michigan Super Lawyers and 13 attorneys as Michigan Rising Stars. William Sider made the announcement.

Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area. The result is a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys.

The Michigan Rising Star recognition is given to attorneys who have been practicing for less than ten years, or are 40 years old or younger. After a multi-phased selection process, less than 2.5 percent of attorneys are selected for this achievement, which includes peer nominations and an attorney-led research and credential review team.
