Abrams and Newman Receive Zeff Weiss Award for Excellence in Real Estate
Taft attorneys Jeff Abrams and Norman Newman have been selected as 2020 recipients of the Zeff Weiss Award for Excellence in Real Estate by the Indianapolis Bar Association. The award recognizes lawyers who are shining examples of the extraordinary and positive achievements to the Indiana real estate and development community that were embodied by Zeff Weiss.
Abrams is a partner in Taft’s Real Estate group and represents banks and lending institutions, developers, landlords, tenants, builders, contractors and all types of business owners. He is a frequent speaker and author on real estate topics. Abrams also serves on the boards of the Indianapolis Legal Aid Society, Indiana Golf Foundation / First Tee of Greater Indianapolis, and Indianapolis Hebrew Congregation.
Newman is senior counsel in Taft’s Real Estate group and has represented both local and national developers for all types of real estate development projects, including shopping centers, industrial parks, office buildings, apartment projects and residential subdivisions, and in all phases of such projects, including land acquisition, zoning, leasing, environmental compliance, financing and construction.
