Amarilio Elected Treasurer of Chicago Bar Association
Taft Chicago partner Jonathan Amarilio has been elected to serve as treasurer of the Chicago Bar Association for the 2024-2025 bar year. The CBA Board of Managers consists of 16 members chosen by the membership, a representative from the Young Lawyers Section (YLS), the YLS Chair, a member-at-large appointed by the President, and six officers, including the President, First Vice-President, Second Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Immediate Past President. Amarilio was sworn in at the Chicago Bar Association’s Annual Meeting on June 27 at the University Club of Chicago.
Amarilio serves as co-chair of Taft’s firm-wide Appellate Group. He represents individuals, small businesses, state and local governments, and Fortune 500 companies before state and federal appellate courts in his civil appellate litigation and critical motion practice. Amarilio serves on several bar associations and charitable boards and is a frequent author and speaker on various topics.
