Amarilio Quoted on YLS End Distracted Driving Initiative
Jonathan B. Amarilio is quoted in the October 2016 CBA Record article “YLS Honored at ABA Annual Meeting in San Francisco.” On Aug. 4, the Chicago Bar Association Young Lawyer’s Section (YLS) was honored with the 2016 LexisNexis NABE Community Educational Outreach Award for its End Distracted Driving Initiative, one of 5 ABA Awards of Achievement the group received that night. Amarilio, the current YLS First Vice-Chair, commented on the reach of the initiative to over 2,000 Illinois high school students and the demand for education on this important topic.
Amarilio is an associate in Taft’s Litigation group. He focuses his practice on civil appellate litigation and critical motion practice. He has experience representing individuals, small businesses, state and local governments and a number of Fortune 500 companies before state and federal appellate courts, primarily the Illinois Appellate Court, the Illinois Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
