Taft Detroit partner Patrice Arend was recently featured in Crain’s Grand Rapids Business in an article covering sweeping changes to Michigan’s changing paid sick time law.
“I certainly would start that process sooner rather than later, but I wouldn’t issue the new policy until it has to be issued to allow any potential changes to come,” said Arend. “I know there will be a push and a lobby to do some amendments. Whether those will be successful, I don’t know.”
