Attorneys Emmer and Soleimani Named to "36 Under 36" List for 2020 by Jewish News and The Well
Attorneys Michael Emmer and Daniel Soleimani have received the prestigious “36 Under 36” honor by The Jewish News and The Well. The awards program recognizes activists, entrepreneurs, philanthropists and other outstanding Jewish professionals under the age of 36 who are advancing the Jewish community across Metro Detroit.
“Michael and Daniel are stewards of the firm’s commitment to community engagement,” Jeffrey Weiss said. “They each independently bring an enhanced level of client service and serve as role models for those in the local Jewish community and beyond. We are tremendously proud of their accomplishments at this point in their careers and celebrate this outstanding achievement.”
Each year, The Well—an organization building inclusive Jewish community in Detroit for the under-40 crowd—and the The Jewish News partner on “36 Under 36” to recognize outstanding individuals in the Metro Detroit Jewish community. Honorees will be featured in the Feb. 11, 2021 issue of The Jewish News.
Michael Emmer is an attorney in the Firm’s real estate practice group. His practice concentrates on a variety of real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing in commercial, industrial, retail, and residential real estate. He represents owners, private and institutional developers, builders, real estate management companies and more. Emmer is a former judicial intern for Judge Patrick J. Duggan in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan in Detroit. Emmer earned his J.D. and graduated cum laude from Wayne State University Law School. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Michigan State University.
Daniel Soleimani is an attorney in the Firm’s Tax Practice Group. He specializes in transactional tax matters related to corporate mergers and acquisitions and commercial real estate transactions. In July 2019, Soleimani was elected to a three-year term as a member of the board of directors of the Jewish Community Center of Metropolitan Detroit.
Soleimani earned an Executive LL.M. from New York University in Taxation and obtained a J.D. from Emory University School of Law, graduating Order of the Coif. He also graduated summa cum laude from University of Buffalo, the State University of New York with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
