Bilott Hosts Academia Avance Charter School of Los Angeles, Calif.
Taft partner Robert A. Bilott hosted several dozen students and faculty from Academia Avance Charter School of Los Angeles, Calif., on May 7 at Taft’s Northern Kentucky office. The group met with Bilott as part of its Senior International Learning Lab Program to learn how PFOA chemical contamination of drinking water in Ohio and West Virginia is impacting local communities. The group is working with the National Council de la Raza’s Affiliate Network, the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States, to connect youth from around the Midwest to discuss local issues, such as water quality, to show the importance of voting.
Bilott is a member of the firm's Environmental, Litigation and Product Liability and Personal Injury groups, where he represents a diverse range of clients on a wide variety of matters involving federal, state and local environmental laws and related litigation.
