Brama and Herring Support Clients in Colorado Supreme Court Outcome

Taft partners Elizabeth Brama and Valerie Herring were mentioned in the Law360 article, “Colo. Justices Reject Co.’s Challenge To Storm Gas Bill,” published on Jan. 13. The article discusses the recent Colorado court rejection of a building materials company’s challenge to charges on its electric bill related to extra natural gas purchased ahead of a 2021 winter storm. Brama and Herring successfully supported the utility company, which in turn supported the Colorado Public Utilities Commission’s approval of a settlement regarding costs associated with emergency natural gas purchases to serve clients during the unpredictable winter storm.
