Brenner Joins Taft's Domestic Relations Practice in Minneapolis
Victoria Brenner has joined Taft as a Domestic Relations partner in Minneapolis. Brenner’s experience includes handling custody, parenting time, child support, orders for protection, alimony, divorce, and post-divorce matters for both medium and high net worth individuals.
“We are thrilled to have Victoria join Taft. Her expertise in family law strengthens our growing Domestic Relations practice in Minnesota and the already deep bench we have across the firm,” said Jill Friedman Helfman, partner and head of Taft’s Domestic Relations practice.
Brenner is an active member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (Minnesota Chapter), whose mission is to minimize the negative impact of divorce and separation on parties and their children. She is also an adjunct professor of family law at Mitchell Hamline School of Law, and has written and presented CLE courses on divorces involving closely held businesses, spousal maintenance, family law appeals, and attorney ethics.
“We continue to focus on recruiting talent among people that strive to deliver great service. Victoria’s addition demonstrates our efforts continue to be successful,” said Justin Weinberg, partner-in-charge of Taft’s Minneapolis office.
Before joining the firm, Brenner practiced at a full-service law firm in St. Paul. She earned her J.D. from University of St. Thomas School of Law and her B.A. from University of Minnesota.
