Brumby Appointed by Governor DeWine to State of Ohio Medical Board
Taft partner Jennifer Brumby was recently appointed by Governor DeWine to serve on the State Medical Board of Ohio. Brumby’s term will start on August 1, 2023, and run to July 31, 2028. In her role, Brumby will help support the Medical Board’s mission of protecting and enhancing the health and safety of the public through effective medical regulation.

Brumby is a partner in the firm’s Labor and Employment Litigation group and represents employers throughout Ohio in both federal and state courts in various employment litigation matters. She has worked in-depth on labor and employment issues such as recruitment, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, benefits programs, collective bargaining matters, and ensuring employee procedures and policies are in compliance with state and federal laws. Her practice includes more than 15 years of experience working with municipal governments, including serving as a special prosecutor for the Office of the Ohio Attorney General.
