Burke to Present at Air & Waste Management Conference
Taft partner Kim K. Burke will present at the Air & Waste Management Association's Kentucky Chapter "One-Day Environmental Practitioners' Workshop," which will be held on April 20 in Florence, Ky. His presentation is titled "EPA's New Ozone Standards: Facts, Myths and Legal Challenges."
Burke is a member of Taft's Environmental group. He concentrates his practice in a variety of environmental law areas, including Superfund defense and negotiation, regulatory enforcement, development and implementation of hazardous substance remedial investigation and corrective measure plans, defense of toxic tort and other civil and criminal claims, real estate transfers, acquisitions and divestitures, government funding, including stimulus and brownfields, environmental insurance litigation, environmental permits and administrative proceedings before state and federal environmental agencies.
