Butler Presents at the Chicago Community Planning Academy
Taft Chicago partner Liz Butler will present to the Chicago Architecture Center and Center for Neighborhood Technology as part of the Chicago Community Planning Academy on Feb. 11. The title of her lecture is “The Rules That Shape Our City: Chicago Land Use & Zoning 101.” The academy’s program is designed to empower residents to create positive change in their Chicago communities.

Butler focuses her practice in the areas of land use, zoning, entitlements, urban planning, public incentives, historic preservation, and economic development, as well as general real estate transactions. She works closely with developers, city officials, and community groups to navigate the complex web of regulations and approvals required for large-scale development projects.
