Taft Chicago partner Liz Butler will be a panelist at the ULI Chicago Developer Dialogue on June 29, 2023. A collaboration between the Urban Land Institute’s Technical Assistance Services and the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP), the half-day moderated discussion session, “Capacity Building Collaborative: Local Incentives,” will explore inter-jurisdictional synergies and development strategies for Chicago’s South Suburbs.

Butler focuses her practice in the areas of land use, zoning, entitlements, urban planning, public incentives, historic preservation, and economic development, as well as general real estate transactions. She has negotiated and enacted economic development and historic preservation incentives, performed general property evaluations and zoning due diligence, and structured and close numerous real estate acquisitions and dispositions. Butler is a member of the American Planning Association and a certified member of the American Institute of Certified Planners.
