CBA Panel Discussion: Managing Risk and Legal Issues In Operating Internationally: In-House Counsel’s View From The Trenches
Sherman & Howard corporate and transactional attorney and vice chair of the CBA International Law Section of the Colorado Bar Association’s (CBA) International Law Section, Garth Jensen, will moderate a CBA panel discussion about how in-house counsel can manage risk and legal issues while operating internationally. He will be joined by Rodrigo Monroy, deputy general counsel at TTEC Holdings; Britton Nohe-Braun, general counsel at One Early Future Foundation; and Michelle Shepston, executive vice president and chief legal officer at DMC Global. The panel will discuss building an effective team of advisors (internal and external) to cost-efficiently manage risk while enabling the organizations to nimbly operate in multiple jurisdictions with differing legal systems, regulatory concerns, and local approaches and preferences.
