Clayson Selected to Michigan Lawyers Weekly Class of 2023 Leaders in the Law
Taft Detroit attorney Kimberly Ross Clayson was named a Michigan Lawyers Weekly Leaders in the Law 2023. Leaders in the Law recognizes Michigan lawyers who are setting the standard for other attorneys through their outstanding contributions to the practice of law and the justice system. They have demonstrated tremendous leadership and offer a wealth of expertise in diverse areas of law.
Clayson is an attorney in Taft’s Bankruptcy and Restructuring practice group. She serves a diverse client portfolio in the areas of insolvency law, creditors’ rights, business law and health law. She provides counsel to operating businesses as well as to creditors of financially distressed businesses and individuals. Kim has extensive experience restructuring business debtors and representing Chapter 7 trustees in fraud investigations and bankruptcy litigation. She was appointed and presently serves as one of only five Subchapter V Trustees in the Eastern District of Michigan under the Small business Reorganization Act of 2019.
