Cole Appointed to Joffrey Ballet Women's Board
Taft Chicago partner Jillian Cole was appointed to serve on The Joffrey Ballet’s Women’s Board. For more than 20 years, the Women’s Board has furthered the activities and prestige of The Joffrey Ballet. The Board raises over $2 million each year for the organization. Members are independently nominated and demonstrate their passion for the Joffrey through advocacy and support, and advance various special mission-driven fundraising efforts.
Cole is a member of Taft’s Litigation group focusing on complex commercial litigation, including representing local and national commercial lenders in commercial foreclosures and other special asset litigation. She has extensive experience representing secured creditors in Chapter 7, 11 and 13 bankruptcy actions. In addition, Cole has successfully litigated cases and resolved disputes involving some of the world’s largest software and technology vendors.
