Taft partner Kiamesha-Sylvia Colom will be the moderator at the Indy Chamber’s Conexión event on Feb. 27. She will moderate a discussion with four featured panelists who will share insights on their journeys as women in business, challenges they have faced along the way and how they have been empowered throughout their careers. Colom serves on the Hispanic Business Council and this discussion will highlight the council’s mentor – protégé program.

Colom focuses her practice on real estate transactions (acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, sale leaseback transactions and real estate municipality work), real estate lending and commercial finance transactions and related business transactions. She also helps businesses obtain their MBE/DBE/VBE or WBE certification. Colom is a member of several boards and committees throughout the community, including serving as the immediate past board chair of La Plaza and as a board member of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and IndyCREW.
