Colom to Present at ICSC-OKIMP Retail Development & Law Symposium

Taft partner Kiamesha-Sylvia Colom will present at ICSC’s Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan & Pennsylvania (OKIMP) Retail Development & Law Symposium held Feb. 28-March 1 in Columbus, Ohio. She will present “Trying to Find Comfort. Letters of Intent and Similar Comfort Instruments – Enforceability and Related Issues.”

Colom focuses her practice on real estate transactions (acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, sale leaseback transactions and real estate municipality work), real estate lending and commercial finance transactions and related business transactions. She is active in the community, including serving as a member of the Indy Chamber’s Hispanic Business Council Executive Committee and as board chair of La Plaza’s Executive Committee.

The ICSC-OKIMP Retail Development & Law Symposium focuses on the needs of legal, financial, leasing and other real estate professionals who serve the interests of shopping center developers, owners, lenders, retail tenants, leasing agents and managers. The event also provides an opportunity to network with professionals who deal with the unique legal and business issues that impact the shopping center industry.
