Coney Selected as Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
Taft Stettinius & Hollister LLP is pleased to announce that Jocelyn M. Coney has been named a member of the Cincinnati Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. Selection into the local chapter of the Sorority is through invitation only and is highly competitive. Members are chosen based on community involvement, career accomplishments and high scholastic achievement and must have a baccalaureate, graduate or professional degree and align with the Sorority’s mission of service to all mankind.
Coney serves on the Family Strengthening and Education Enrichment committees, participating in their ASCEND Youth Program, taking part in events such as the MLK Day of Service and Christmas activities at Winton House and volunteering at the Black Family Reunion.
Coney is an associate in Taft’s business and finance practices. Her areas of focus include corporate securities and capital markets.
