Dasgupta Speaks at Oxford Union
Taft partner Sohan Dasgupta, Ph.D. was invited by the Oxford Union to give an address at their Alumni Gala Debate on Sept. 21. In his speech, Dasgupta stated, “The long-term success of any society depends on its respecting its past while preparing for its future.” Relatedly, he noted the value of strengthening institutions as technological and economic advancements occur. Founded in 1823, the Oxford Union is a prominent and prestigious global speech and debate society.
Dasgupta is a strategic and experienced problem-solver representing clients before the U.S. Supreme Court, federal and state appellate and trial courts, government agencies, state legislatures, and Congress.
